Christopher “SlickThePoet” Williams Started off doing talent shows dancing like Chris brown and Michael Jackson. He always was knowñ to entertain since a kid. Has he got older he started becoming known as a musician with his group PoeticRhythm and moved on to becoming more of a solo act after wanting more for himself and daughter. His first performance was him doing poetry and from there he has been making a musical way through the scene ever since. Becoming a young father Slick had to find ways to make moves within music and quick. Moving from New Orleans to California was one of the biggest. With hits like “SlickStory” and “MyImpala” Slick will never put down the mic he always has a story to tell.
The3Rhythm - #MusicInMe
The original PoeticRhythm consisted of SlickThePoet, JayShinez, and YungBlood aka YuhBlack. From tracks like "Music in me" and "leave them behind" they really had a new sound and rhythm. After making PoeticRhythmMusic a label. The original 3 of PoeticRhythm became "The3Rhythm" 3 kids with a dream. Til this day SlickThePoet and Yuh Black is still working with each other

One Year before moving to Los Angeles, SlickThePoet decided to get songs done with certain people that he wouldn't be in contact with as much. From family members to close friends. He put together 4 hit songs just so he never forgets the vibes and energy he had with friends and family from New Orleans

One of the deepest albums and personally one of SlickThePoet's favorites albums. After going through probation from ages 17- 24. He finally wanted to tell his story. The back and forth and in and out of jail. Self reflection made Slick realize we are all Free"Dumb" Slaves
The7Theory
SlickThePoet gained a relationship with the producer named Rollout from The UK. They put together several tracks together and in the mist of doing that SlickThePoet decided to put his family and friends on majority of this album. The 7 theory was awakening as SlickThePoet dive into his own soul!!
